Location

What you'll do...

As Trade Contracts Manager, you’ll lead the commercial and contractual delivery of construction trade contracts across the Bridgwater site, supporting the delivery of a large-scale cell manufacturing facility. Acting as the primary interface between Agratas and its contractors, you’ll ensure contracts are executed safely, compliantly and in line with agreed commercial objectives.

You’ll manage NEC contracts throughout their full lifecycle, from RFQs and tendering through to mobilisation, delivery and performance management. You’ll chair contractor meetings, review KPIs and service levels, manage change and deviations, and ensure suppliers consistently meet quality, safety and delivery expectations. Cost control, budget management and forecasting will be central to the role, alongside supporting contract renewals and continuous improvement initiatives.

Working closely with internal construction, capital delivery and operational stakeholders, you’ll balance competing priorities, resolve issues proactively and help drive efficient, high-quality construction outcomes across the site.

The team you’ll join...

You’ll be part of the Capital Delivery function, reporting into the Head of Construction and working alongside project, commercial, manufactuing and operations leadership teams. The role sits at the heart of a fast-paced construction programme for the construction of the largest gigfactory in the UK, offering high visibility and the opportunity to influence how trade contracts are structured, managed and continuously improved across a complex, regulated environment.

What you’ll bring…

You’ll have strong experience managing multiple contracts within large-scale construction environments, with a solid understanding of NEC contracting and construction commercial management. You’ll be comfortable handling contractor relationships, budgets, forecasts and cost reporting, while ensuring compliance with health, safety and regulatory requirements.

You’ll bring excellent stakeholder management skills, confidence when leading meetings and negotiations, and the ability to coordinate multiple workstreams effectively. A degree, HND or equivalent experience in construction or a related discipline is expected, along with strong technical awareness of construction delivery and contracting practices.

What you’ll get…
