Supporting access to safe drinking water in our neighbouring communities

Access to clean and safe drinking water plays a vital role in improving health, wellbeing, and quality of life. As part of our Corporate Environment Responsibility initiatives, we have taken a meaningful step in this direction by installing two reverse osmosis (RO) water units in communities nearby our Sanand site.

At the Government primary school in Motipura village, over 150 students and teachers now benefit from significantly improved drinking water quality, making it safer and more suitable for daily consumption. This intervention is expected to positively impact their health, hygiene, and overall school experience.

In Bol village, the RO unit has been installed at a community space developed by the Gram Panchayat, an important hub for daily activities, social gatherings, and festivals. With consistent footfall, the unit is expected to serve approximately 3,000 villagers and visitors, ensuring reliable access to safe drinking water.

While modest in scale, these initiatives reflect our continued commitment to creating a positive impact in the communities around us. By supporting such essential needs, we aim to contribute towards building healthier and more resilient local ecosystems.
