Purpose of the Role
The Finance Business Partner - Corporate will act as a strategic advisor to senior leadership, enabling data‑driven decision‑making through strong financial insights, storytelling, and stakeholder management. The role requires hands‑on ownership, flexibility, and the ability to work independently in a fast‑paced manufacturing‑led environment.
Key Responsibility Areas
- Act as the primary Finance Business Partner for assigned corporate functions.
- Partner with senior leadership (VP/CXO – up to 3 layers) to support strategic and operational decision‑making.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes for corporate functions.
- Prepare and present management reports, business reviews, and leadership presentations with clear insights and recommendations.
- Drive variance analysis, performance tracking, and cost optimization initiatives.
- Translate complex financial data into clear business narratives and actionable insights.
- Support governance, controls, and adherence to financial policies.
- Work closely with cross‑functional teams in a manufacturing‑driven environment to enable business outcomes.
- Independently own deliverables and manage priorities in a dynamic, evolving setup.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- 8–12 years of relevant experience in manufacturing‑led organizations.
- Strong preference for candidates from Auto OEMs; candidates from Pharma / FMCG with manufacturing exposure will also be considered.
- Proven experience in Finance Business Partnering / Corporate Finance / FP&A roles.
- Strong exposure to senior stakeholder management and leadership interactions.
- Excellent presentation, communication, and storytelling skills (presentation assessment in first interview round).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and present financial data.
- Hands‑on mindset with the ability to work independently and own outcomes.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and management reporting.
Good to Have
- Exposure to SAP HANA / S/4HANA.
- Working knowledge of Power BI for dashboards and insights.
- Experience operating in ambiguous or fast‑changing environments.
Role Specific Qualifications/Certifications
- Qualified CA / CMA / MBA (Finance) from a recognized institute (preferred).
- Relevant finance or analytics certifications will be an added advantage.
