Purpose of the Role

Agratas is looking to hire an experienced and commercially driven legal professional to join its in house legal team who has worked in relation to commercial contracts and financing transactions. The candidate will be responsible for advising on financing and commercial contracts, ensuring regulatory and legal compliance, advising on legal risk and mitigation strategies.

Key Responsibility Areas

• Assisting in structuring in commercial and project finance debt structuring
• Assisting in reviewing of commercial contracts preferably in the manufacturing sector
• Reviewing of legal documents in relation to the same, advising internal stakeholders from a legal perspective
• Advising internal stakeholders of regulatory and legal implications and risks  

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Essential:

• At least 7 years of experience in a general corporate, project finance and banking & finance role, preferably in a top tier law firm or advising corporates in their domestic and cross border financing transactions
• Strong grasp of corporate law and banking regulations
• Skilled in contract drafting and having keen negotiation skills
• Ability to highlight risks and mitigation strategies to internal stakeholders
• Ability to handle transactions with minimum support
• High attention to detail, team player and strong commercial awareness.

Desired:

• Previous experience in projects, financial institutions or manufacturing sector.
