Purpose of the Role

Responsible for the O&M of Boiler, Nitrogen, Piping Maintenance, facility and other plant utility maintenance

Key Responsibility Areas

Technical /Functional

1. Ensure Operation & Maintenance and troubleshooting & repair of Boiler (Solid fire and Gas fire Minimum 20 TPH), Nitrogen Plant.
2. Develop and execute maintenance operation system and lead the team for the robust implementation to deliver target KPI.
3. Lead and motivate the team and ensure 100 % Boiler and nitrogen operation as per plant requirement.
4. In-depth Knowledge in mechanical boilers, ESP, Nitrogen plant, Economizer, Pressure reducing station, Chilled water piping, steam piping, maintenance, steam traps, gas train.
5. Engage the team in technical training for operation and maintenance and support to project during installation and commissioning phase.
6. Responsible for overall utilities, facilities to reduce time and 100 % availability.
7. Perform Preventive Maintenance (PM), Predictive Maintenance (PDM), analysis and Corrective actions.
8. Ensure all the legal and statutory requirement fulfil for Boilers, Nitrogen plant and other utilities piping and its distribution.

Industrial and General Safety

1. Ensuring safety protocols adherence during machine breakdown.
2. Deliver Technical and safety training to Team.

TPM

1. Understanding of TPM Concepts. (5S, Kaizen, AM, PM etc.)

IT Skills

1. Hands on experience in MES/SAP/SCADA systems.
2. Computer Proficiency (MS Excel, Power point).

Job Context

1. Maintain spare as per requirement and follow safety practices (LOTO, TBT, HIRA& EIA, Work permit) during maintenance work.
2. Daily and monthly MIS data collection and report preparation as per requirement.
3. Implementing Continuous Improvement ideas and cost saving projects.
4. In-House Repair of Mechanical spares.
5. ShiftWise allocation of work and ensure timely completion during shifts and proper handover to next shift.
6. Develop and maintain utility related documents as per standard requirement and controlling and providing accurate data reporting.
7. Work closely with service provider, purchaser, process, and project team.

Job Context Specific

Mandatory Desired: BE/BTech in (Mechanical) / Suitable/ Optional:   Boiler Operation Engineer (BOE)

Mandatory Desired: 10 years to 12 years in Lithium-ion cell manufacturing industry, Food/ Beverage & pharma, Packing, Tyre industries, Auto and heavy engineering
